Patrice Venuti's Obituary
Lawrence – Patrice (Sciacca) Venuti, 67 of Lawrence, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at home.
Patrice was born in Lawrence on September 8, 1954, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Pauline (Garon) Sciacca. She graduated from Methuen High School in 1974 and then attended Northern Essex Community College and Merrimack College. Patrice attended several Christian churches near her home, as well as the Point After Club in Lawrence. In her free time, she enjoyed reading books and magazines, painting, drawing, and crafts. She also loved cats and leaves behind her cat, Molly, who is now in good hands. Patrice was not a complainer. As a bible-believing Christian, Patrice peacefully trusted in God for her daily happenings and for her next life in heaven. Above her bureau, Patrice had a large picture of kittens with the words “Lost and Found,” which included her favorite bible verses:
Romans 10:13:
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
And Psalm 119:
- Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord.
- Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart—
- I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word.
- I had chosen the way of faithfulness; I had set my heart on your laws.
- I held fast to your statutes, Lord; do not let me be put to shame.
Patrice will be deeply missed by her 5 siblings, Michael Sciacca of Norfolk, VA, Peter Sciacca of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Paula Ryan of Atkinson, NH, Michelle Milone of Salem, NH, and Patrick Sciacca of Charlotte, NC, and her nephew, David Milone.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Patrice’s life by gathering for her funeral service at 1 PM on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Burial will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception cemetery in Lawrence.
