Normand J. Rivard's Obituary
Normand J. Rivard, 87 of Methuen, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Claire A. (Leach) Rivard, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.
Normand was born in Pawtucket, RI on January 13, 1936. He was the son of the late Romeo and Emily (Chauquette) Rivard. He graduated from Methuen High School and worked as a mailman with the Lawrence Post Office for over 30 years until his retirement. Normand loved antique cars and doing puzzles.
Normand will be deeply missed by his daughter, Corinne J. Marggraf, of Las Vegas, NV and his granddaughter, Alyssa Marggraf, of Lawrence.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Normand’s life by gathering for his graveside service, which will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Elmwood Cemetery, 130 N Lowell Street, Methuen. Guests are kindly asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
