Noemi "Mimi" Torres' Obituary
Noemi Torres, 62, of Lawrence, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 surrounded by her family at Lawrence General Hospital.
Noemi was born in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico on November 3, 1961. She was the daughter of the late Lupecio Torres and Nelida Hernandez. Noemi was the life of the party; everyone called her a party animal, always hosting parties for her friends and family. She enjoyed cooking and putting a smile on everyone’s face. She loved her soap operas and was constantly listening to music. Without fail, Noemi was a carefree and happy spirit, spreading those emotions wherever she went.
She was predeceased by her sister, Maritza Torres.
Noemi will be deeply missed by her loving children; Jennifer and Jose Torres, both of Puerto Rico; cherished siblings, Josie Falcon of Haverhill, Christopher Falcon of Maine, ad Nelida Diaz of Haverhill. In addition, she also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, as well as extended family.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Noemi’s life by gathering for her visiting hours, which will be held from 9am-12pm on Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence MA 01841.
