Nidia Rosario's Obituary
Nidia Rosario, 84 of Lawrence, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Nidia was born in Bani, Dominican Republic on January 11, 1939, the daughter of the late Jose Rosario and Flerida Ramirez. She was a supervisor at American Foods in Methuen for over 20 years until her retirement. Nidia enjoyed traveling, cooking for her children, and visiting the Haverhill Senior Center.
Nidia will be deeply missed by her 7 children, Carlos Diogenes Puello, Andrea Margarita Madera Puello and her husband, Angel Madera, Juana Evangelina Puello, Ana Cristina Puello, Martha Iluminada Puello and her husband, Eduard Samboy, Luis Armando Puello and his wife, Maria Puello, and Francisco Esteban and his wife, Zugery Puello; 2 sisters, Celeste and Mayra Rosario; 18 grandchildren, Aneudys Puello, Gerlyn Puello, Manuel Antonio Madera, Angel Justo Madera, Gisselle Alicia Caldwell Madera, Lenier Alexander Reiger, Ianerys Reiger, Heisny Alexander Moscat, Oscar Bolivar Moscat, Eva Patricia Moscat, Paola Jazmin Samboy, Edith Julissa Samboy, Luis Esteban Puello, Francisco Armando Puello, Yaritza Puello, Francisco Puello, Frangerys Puello, Wilfranger Puello; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Nidia’s life by gathering for her calling hours on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 4 – 8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Her funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary – Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
