Neuza Da Costa Drumond's Obituary
Methuen – Neuza Da Costa Drumond, 61 of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Born in Itanhomi, Brazil on May 4, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Geraldo Barbosa and Maria (Corcina) Da Costa. Neuza was a very happy person who loved to celebrate life. She could be stubborn but was also very kind. She was always open to helping people and never had anything bad to say about others. She loved music, dancing, and animals, especially dogs and cats.
Neuza will be deeply missed by her 3 children, Lincoln Drumond and his wife, Christina Chaves, of Macae, Brazil, Helbert Drumond of Methuen, and Amanda Drumond of South Lawrence; 4 grandchildren, Carolina, Marya, Daniel, and Arthur; 5 siblings, Joao, Zilda, Odilon, Hilda, and Onicio; her former husband, Geubert Drumond; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Neuza’s life by gathering for her calling hours on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 2 – 4 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Her funeral ceremony will take place at 4 PM on Sunday at the funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Drumond family.
