Nancy R. Walsh's Obituary
Nancy R. (Brousseau) Walsh, 69, of Hudson, NH, formerly of Manchester, NH, and Methuen passed away on February 8, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua surrounded by family. Born in Lawrence on October 28, 1950 to the late Robert and Julia Brousseau, she attended Lawrence High School graduating with the Class of 1968. A devout lifelong Catholic, she was a former communicant at Mt. Carmel Church, where she was involved in many of the parish’s various causes. Being a very selfless and generous woman, Nancy volunteered countless hours at the Northeast Independent Living Council. During her career, she worked as an assembler at Raytheon and then retiring as an administrator for the Lawrence Unemployment Commission. Nancy touched many lives in many different circles and will fondly be loved, cherished and missed by all.
Nancy is survived by her two children; her daughter, Shannon Thomas-George of Hudson, NH and her son, Christopher Walsh. She was the proud grandmother to her two grandchildren, Patrick George and Thomas George Junior; and her four great grandchildren. She is also survived by several siblings and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation for Nancy will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 9 – 10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Saint Monica’s Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker Street, Lawrence.
