Nancy Sousa's Obituary
Nancy (Riordan) Sousa, age 78 of Dracut passed away suddenly on October 20, 2017 surrounded by her loving husband and “Aruba Family”. She was born in Methuen on October 2, 1939 to the late Michael and Ruth (Kershaw) Riordan. On November 19, 1960, Nancy married the love of her life, Laurence Sousa Sr. Nancy was educated in the Lawrence School System and went on to work for the IRS in Andover where she retired. She was a member of the VFW Post 8349 of Methuen. Nancy enjoyed traveling with her husband.
Nancy was the beloved wife of her devoted husband, Laurence Sousa Sr. with who she shared 57 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Robert Sousa of Everett, Michael Sousa and his wife Debra of Iowa and Lawrence Sousa Jr. of Dracut. Nancy is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Sunday, October 29, 2017, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery of Methuen.
