Nancy M. (Petzold) Phillips' Obituary
Lawrence ? Nancy M. (Petzold) Phillips, 70 of Lawrence, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Lawrence General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John M. Phillips.
Born in Lawrence on December 15, 1946, she was the daughter of Ernest Petzold and Claire Caston. She worked as an activities coordinator at Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen until her retirement in 2014.
Nancy enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching her soap operas, cooking, spending time outside gardening in her yard, going shopping, and staying in touch with her family and friends. She was very close with her family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
Nancy will be deeply missed by her three sons, Shawn M. Phillips of Lake Placid, Florida, John F. Phillips of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Steven R. Phillips and his wife, Jaime of Pelham, New Hampshire and five grandchildren, Taylor, Ashley, John, Allison, and Jessica.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Nancy?s life by gathering for her calling hours which will take place on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 4 ? 8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Her funeral service will take place on Thursday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The family has requested, in Nancy?s honor, memorial contributions be made to Dana-Farber Community Cancer Care, 25 Marston Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.
