Michael E. Savage's Obituary
Michael E. Savage, 75, of Methuen, passed away at home on June 5, 2024, with his loving family by his side.
Born and raised in Everett, MA, he was the son of the late Warren H., Sr., and Mary Elizabeth (Sullivan) Savage. Mike was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1967, after which he began working for a living. One of his favorite places was Polaroid, where he trained and learned so much about manufacturing, that he was soon instructing his new coworkers.
Mike was a very happy loving person with a heart of gold. Through his life Mike had many jobs starting with a paper route, manual labor and highly skilled technician, including American Vending, Reebok and Polaroid till it closed. Mike was a member of American Pool players Association (APA) for 5 years, (He was a Whizz at the pool table) winning many awards and patches. Mike loved traveling and we took many day trips to the casino.Mike enjoyed family get together, working on race cars with his dad, playing cards, pool, cribbage and backgammon, and listening to classical music. Most of all Family was so important to Mike.
Mike will be sadly missed and forever in the heart of his wife, of thirteen years, Deborah Ann Savage of Methuen, MA. He was the loving father of Kristilynne Goonan and her husband, Casey of Plymouth, MA., Christine Bradley and her partner Peter Bartlett of Lawrence, MA., and the late Ann Marie Bussey and Andrew Bradley, III. He was the loving brother of Warren H Savage and Wife Barbara of Santee, CA., Late Robert P Savage of Everett, MA., Thomas J Savage of Everett, MA., David C Savage and wife Barbara of Lynnfield, MA., Roberta DiMarzo of Summerville, MA., Paul F Savage of Everett, MA., Frederick L Savage and wife Maureen of Winchester, MA. He was the cherished grandfather of Scarlett (Bird) Goonan, Matheau Giovannetti and his wife Wendy, Vencent Giovannetti, Joseph DeKuiper, Jasmin Connor.
Mike will sadly missed by many of his nieces, nephew, great nieces, great nephew and other family members.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held in the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 10:00am.
