Michael Scott Morin's Obituary
Michael Scott Morin, 69, of Methuen, Massachusetts, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at High Pointe House in Haverhill.
Born on May 12, 1956, he was the son of the late William and Lillian (Grusheck) Morin. Michael was raised in Methuen and was a proud graduate of Tenney High School, Class of 1975.
Michael spent many years working as a delivery driver for Ricoh, retiring just last year. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures—cheering on New England sports teams, fishing with his grandchildren, golfing, trips to Encore casino, traveling with friends Tom and Linda Lopizzo of Manchester, NH, and enjoying good meals, especially at his favorite restaurant, Causeway in Gloucester.
Above all, Michael cherished his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his son, Corey Morin and his wife, Stephanie of Windham, NH; his beloved grandchildren, Everett, Wyatt, and Bryce; his former wife of 34 years and longtime best friend, Vera Morin of Haverhill, MA; and his brother, William Morin and the late Penny Morin (Weed) of Rockaway, New Jersey.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the Methuen Family Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the Methuen Family Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at the St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Barker Street in Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Michael’s memory to the American Cancer Association via www.cancer.org.
