Michael Wayne Mooneyhan Sr.'s Obituary
Methuen – Michael Wayne Mooneyhan, Sr., 54 of Methuen, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Holy Family Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Mary Eskel and endearing father to his children.
Born in Royal Oak, Michigan on October 25, 1965, he was the son of the late Rosetta (Hatcher) Frederick. He was the owner and operator of MWM Construction in Methuen. Michael enjoyed taking camping trips to the mountains and to Seabrook Beach. Family was paramount in his life. His mother was the first love of his life, and his wife, children and grandchildren meant the world to him.
Michael will be deeply missed by his wife, Mary; 5 children, Michael Mooneyhan, Jr. of NH, Mitchell Mooneyhan of NH, Kristy Mooneyhan of MA, Ricky Mooneyhan of MA, and Robert McKinney of NH; 5 sisters, Sharon Laffin of NH, Kathy Thomas and her husband, Mark, of NH, Alice Berube of NH, Laurie Merk and her husband, Daniel, of NH, and Sherry MacDonald and her husband, Eliott, of NH; 4 brothers, Ricky Mooneyhan and his wife, Debra, of MI, Joseph Mooneyhan of NH, Allen Mooneyhan and his wife, Krista, of NH, and James Frederick and his wife, Jackie, of NH; 5 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his sister Sheila Mooneyhan and brother David Mooneyhan.
Family and friends are invited to gather for his calling hours on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 4-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. His Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 AM on Sat., March 7 at St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence St Methuen. Guests are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. There will be no funeral procession. Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held on Sunday, March 8 at 2pm @ Brownies Pub, 111 Hampstead St. Methuen.
