Merrilee Kerr Ford's Obituary
Merrilee Kerr Ford passed away at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA on Monday, October 10, 2022. She was 73 years old. Born in 1949 in Paterson, New Jersey, Merrilee grew up in Methuen and graduated from Tenney Memorial High School in 1969. She spent her career as an LPN working for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at Danvers and Tewksbury State Hospitals. She was retired at the time of her death.
She is survived by her sisters Susan Kerr of Methuen, Elizabeth Kerr Guyott and her husband Scott of Malden, MA, her nephew Greg Guyott, Jr and his fiancée Jordan Shapiro of Ayer, MA, and her beloved grandniece Jaelynn Guyott. She was predeceased by her husband Gary Ford. A devoted and loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend, she enjoyed the company of her loving extended family.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of First Church Congregational or a local animal shelter.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at First Church Congregational, 26 Pleasant St., Methuen, MA. All are welcome to join in the celebration of Merrilee’s life.
