Maurice LeBlanc's Obituary
Derry, NH – Maurice LeBlanc, 74 of Derry, NH, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Denise (Therese) LeBlanc, to whom he was married for 48 years.
Maurice was born in Ville de Dégelis, Quebec, Canada on January 25, 1948, the son of the late Lucien and Doralice (Ouellette) LeBlanc. He was known to be a hard worker and worked as a carpenter with T.J. McCartney, Inc. in Boston until his retirement. He was a member of Carpenters Local 40 Union and also a member of the French Social Naturalization Club in Lawrence. He was a big Montreal Canadiens hockey fan. He also enjoyed spending time at Cascade Camp Ground in Loudon, NH, going back home to Ville Dégelis, and spending time with his family.
Maurice will be deeply missed by his wife, Denise; his son, Steven LeBlanc and his wife, Andrea, of Lawrence; his daughter, Brenda Mannion and her companion, William Desrochers of Methuen; 3 grandchildren, Austin, Emma, and Cheyenne; 6 siblings, Rachel Soucy and her husband, Jean Paul, of Ville de Dégelis, Quebec, Fernande Pelletier and her husband, Viateur, of Sherbrooke, Quebec City, Fernand LeBlanc and his wife, Huguette Boutot, of Derry NH, Gerard LeBlanc and his wife, Claire, of Cowinville, Quebec City, Cecile Levesque and her husband, Marc, of Ville de Dégelis, Quebec, and Rino LeBlanc and his wife, Chantal, of Riviere du Loup, Quebec City; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Maurice’s life by gathering for his calling hours, which will be from 9 – 11 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. His funeral service will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary/Immaculate Conception Cemetery Mausoleum in Lawrence.
