Maureen Bernadette Donovan's Obituary
Maureen Bernadette Donovan, 86, passed away at her home in Yuma AZ on May 8, 2024.
Born and raised in Methuen, she was the daughter of the late Augustine and Maud (Chivall) Donovan.
Maureen graduated from Tenney High School, Class of 1955. After high school she worked for many years at Malden Mills, then had a long career at Lawrence General Hospital in Medical Records, Ambulatory Care and the Business office until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and their families, traveling, walking on the beach and reading.
Maureen was the beloved wife of Raymond Fabian of Yuma, AZ. She was the loving mother of Catherine Cutlip and her husband Jeffery of Pocahontas, AR, Colleen Krop of Hooksett NH, Wayne Hebert and his wife Kim of Berlin NH, Christopher Hebert and his wife Maria of Aubrey TX and Kevin Hebert of Pelham NH. She was the cherished grandmother of Bethany, Alysa, Keith, Tabitha, Kaitlyn and Macayla and great-grandchildren Leo, Etta, Eliana, Haylin and baby girl Lainey on the way, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Maureen was predeceased in death by her parents, Augustine and Maud (Chivall) Donovan, her brothers and their spouses Henry (Rita) and Donald (Cornelia), her favorite aunt Dorothy (Chivall) Thornley as well as a great granddaughter Addison Grace, great grandson Chase Mitchell and son in law Mark Krop.
Her family would like to thank Southwestern Palliative Care and Hospice in Yuma AZ for the care they gave to her.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held in the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Thursday June 20, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Interment will be private.
At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer’s and Dementia research, Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
