Mary S. Pelletier's Obituary
Mary S. Pelletier, age 89 of Methuen passed away peacefully on July 7, 2021. Mary was born in Lawrence on May 28, 1932 to the late John and Mary (Linehan) Sawyer. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and North Essex Community College where she received her associate’s degree in nursing. Mary went on to obtain her LPN and worked at Mary Immaculate Nursing and Rehabilitation for many years. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at Peaks Island, ME and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting and was a member of several Church groups.
Mary was the devoted mother of Herve Pelletier Jr. and his wife Mary, Michael Pelletier and his former spouse Glenda, Maxine Pierce and her husband David, Maureen Winship and her husband Keith, James Pelletier and his wife Jane, John Pelletier and his wife Charlene, Kevin Pelletier and his wife Ngoc, and Faith Pelletier and her partner Jim Wilson. Mary was the dear sister of the late Milton Sawyer. She is survived by 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The Pelletier Family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude and appreciation to Mary’s friend Collie Rivela, for all of her care and compassion shown to Mary.
