Martha M. Houle's Obituary
Martha M. (Skrebi) Houle, age 89 of Methuen passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020. Martha was born in Germany on April 18, 1931 to the late Matthias and Marta (Reisch) Skrebi. She was a former communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish. Martha enjoyed shopping watching soap operas and she was a big fan of Elvis Presley. In her younger years, Martha enjoyed camping with her family. She was formerly employed at Compu Graphics and Agfa.
Martha was the devoted mother of Mark Houle and his wife Michelle, and Beverly Carrier and her husband Robert. She was the loving grandmother of Ashlie Carrier and her wife Tina, and Danielle Katz and her husband Nicholas. Martha was the cherished great-grandmother of Emmah Carrier, Kaya Katz, and Karly Katz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place following calling hours, beginning promptly at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel-St. Theresa’s Parish, 22 Plymouth St. Methuen. Interment to follow at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Due to the ongoing global pandemic and government regulations, facial coverings are required to attend calling hours, the funeral mass and interment. Social distancing must also be observed.
