Marie J. Pellerin's Obituary
Marie J. (Goulet) Pellerin, age 93 of Methuen, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2020 at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Marie was born in Lawrence on February 23, 1927 to the late Lucien and Alice (Bouchard) Goulet. She was a 1945 graduate of St. Anne’s High School. Marie worked as a quality assurance clerk for AT&T for many years. She was a former member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Marie was a former communicant of St. Monica’s Parish. She enjoyed bowling for many years at Park Place, playing 45’s, trips to Foxwoods, card games with friends and playing bingo. Most importantly, the most cherished part of Marie’s life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marie was the beloved wife of the late Lucien Pellerin. Marie was the devoted mother of Janet Nelson and her husband Roy of Methuen MA, Patricia Kenney and her husband David of Hooksett NH, Leonard Pellerin and his wife Louise of Londonderry NH, and Denise Pellerin of Haverhill MA. She was the loving grandmother of Faith, Kristen, Michael, James, William, Daniel, Scott, and Steven. Marie also cherished her 12 great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Monica’s Parish, 212 Lawrence St. Methuen following calling hours, beginning at 11:00 AM. Entombment to take place at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Due to the ongoing global pandemic and per order of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, facial coverings are required to attend the calling hours, funeral mass and entombment, social distancing must also be observed. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA 02451 or to the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, 401 Park Dr. Suite 602 Boston, MA 02215.
