Marguerite "Peg" K. (Cloonan) Michaud's Obituary
Marguerite “Peg” K. Michaud, 93, of Methuen passed away peacefully at the High Pointe House in Haverhill of November 19, 2019. Born on June 14, 1926 to the late Anthony and Margaret (Maher) Cloonan in Lawrence, she graduated from Lawrence High School with the Class of 1944. Peg enjoyed the many simple pleasures in life from reading, playing bingo and enjoying the occasional game of 45’s. The devoted matriarch of her family, she wed her husband in a simple ceremony in 1956. Peg touched many lives in many different circles and will fondly be loved and missed by all.
Peg is survived by her daughter, Nancy Russell and her wife Mary Quirk of Salem, NH. She was the cherished grandmother to her two grandchildren; Ryan Russell and his longtime companion Alyssa Ayotte of Hudson, NH and Michael Russell of Salem, NH. Peg was also the great-grandmother to Aydan and Mason. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Norman L. Michaud and her two sisters; Mary Cosgrove and Helen Cloonan.
