Marguerite M. "Peggy" Jordan's Obituary
Marguerite Mary (“Peggy”) Jordan, 90, formally of Methuen, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at her home in North Hampton, NH.
Born in Lawrence, MA on October 13, 1932, Peggy was the loving daughter of the late Timothy and Nora (Collins) Jordan. She graduated from Saint Mary’s High School Class of 1950 and had a long and successful career as a Service Representative for Mass Electric (now National Grid). Peggy was an avid reader and enjoyed her many trips to Ireland, the land of her parents’ birth, to visit relatives and to take in the majestic scenery.
She was predeceased by her sister Maureen Jackson and brother-in-law Albert, her brother John (“Jack”) and sister-in law Maureen, her brothers Kevin and James, and her niece Kelsey Gordon.
Peggy will be deeply missed and is survived by her sister Catherine of North Hampton, her nieces and nephews, Timothy Jackson, of Methuen, MA, Kathleen Rennie and her husband William of Salem, NH (children William III, Christopher, Meaghan Landry and her husband Eric and their children Jackson and Callen of Derry, NH), Maureen Gordon and her husband Matthew of Salem, NH, Timothy Jordan, of North Hampton, NH, John Jordan and his wife Meghan (daughter Catherine) of Palm Harbor, FL, James Jordan and his wife Deborah (children Bailee, Brendan, Trevor, and Evan) of Manchester, NH and her dear friends, Carol, Alex, Karen, and her special canine buddy, Lewie.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at St. Monica Parish, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Jordan Family.
