Margaret T. (O'Brien) Valcourt's Obituary
Methuen – Margaret T. (O’Brien) Valcourt, 96, of Methuen, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred R. Valcourt.

She retired in 1986 from AT&T after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the CWA. In her spare time, Margie, as she was known to her family and friends, enjoyed collecting dolls, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and later her great-great grandchildren. For her favorite holiday, Christmas, she would spend countless hours searching for the perfect gifts that would provide joy to each recipient. Participating in the family holiday gatherings brought her much happiness. In summer, she looked forward to spending time at Lake Winnisquam. Well into her 90’s, she always enjoyed a cup of coffee with every meal, regardless of the time of day or season.
Margie will be deeply missed by her sons, Senator Robert J. Letourneau and his wife, Anne-Marie of Ashland, NH, and Ronald Valcourt and his wife, Aline of Bradford, MA; five grandchildren, Diane Gallien and her husband, Peter, Robert Letourneau, II and his wife, Lilli, David Letourneau and his wife, Heidi, Stephanie Valcourt-Dexter and her husband, Andrew, and Nicholas Valcourt; eleven great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; her brother, Michael O’Brien of Hampton, NH; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by five siblings, Anna King, Mary Esile, Joseph “Buddy” O’Brien, Eileen Sirois, and Barbara Pellerin.
