Margaret "Barbara" Sarcione's Obituary
Margaret “Barbara” (Hannon) Sarcione, 91 of Salem, NH and formerly of Lawrence, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas C. Sarcione.
Barbara was born in Lawrence on February 22, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Esther (Middlemiss) Hannon. She attended Lawrence Grammar School and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1952. She worked at Western Electric in North Andover, then at W.T. Grant Company in Lawrence, and finally as a home healthcare clinician for Nursing Services, Inc. for 17 years until her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and sewing.
Barbara will be deeply missed by several nieces, nephews, and step-children.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Barbara’s life by gathering for her calling hours from 4 – 8 PM on Monday, March 18, 2024 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Her funeral service will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Methuen.
