Margaret E. Poulin's Obituary
Margaret E. Poulin, age 93 of Methuen passed away peacefully on February 14, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the Holy Family Hospital. Margaret was born in Ipswich, Suffolk England on July 2, 1926 to the late Cecil and Charlotte (Read) Bradbeer. She is a Veteran of World War II, having served in the British Royal Navy in London. Margaret married a US Army Air Corps soldier and emigrated to the US in 1946. She graduated from the McIntosh Business School. Margaret was the former Executive Secretary for Andrew Wilson Company. Margaret was a former communicant of St. Lucy’s Parish. Margaret enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting watching Jeopardy and the cheering on the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Later in life, Margaret moved to Cedar Homes Community in Methuen, which would soon become her extended family. She took great joy in their friendships and participating in their activities. Daily, she would participate in their social activities, many times playing bingo and cards and enjoying afternoon coffee.
Margaret was the devoted mother of Catherine Congo. She was the loving grandmother of Jeffrey Congo and his wife Heather, Brian Congo and his wife Sara. Margaret was the cherished great grandmother of Brian and Dylan.
