Madeline M. (Marcoux) McGrath's Obituary
Madeline M. (Marcoux) McGrath, 82, of Salem, NH and former longtime resident of Methuen, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2020 at the High Pointe House in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chelsea, MA on February 12, 1938 to the late Joseph & Elizabeth (Fagen) Marcoux. Madeline worked for many years as an assembler for Raytheon until her retirement. As the cherished matriarch of her family, she enjoyed the many activities that revolved around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Madeline had an avid passion for discussing politics with anyone who had a listening ear and had a love for many of life’s simple pleasures. She touched many lives in many different circles and will fondly be loved, cherished and missed by all.
Madeline is survived by her two beloved children; her daughter Diane F. Little & her husband Richard of Derry, NH and her son Ronald J. McGrath & his wife Rena of Plaistow, NH. She was the proud grandmother to her ten grandchildren and great-grandmother to her twelve great-grandchildren. Madeline is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, where their love story began at the Chelsea Navy Yard, Ronald R. McGrath in December, 1997 and her daughter Sharon R. Corbin in July, 1998.
