Lynne M. Patti's Obituary
Lynne M. (Bernard) Patti, 62, of Salisbury, MA, died unexpectedly at her home in Salisbury on Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Born in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Katherine (Robinson) Bernard. Lynne was a graduate of Methuen High School, Class of 1980, after which she earned her certificate in hair and cosmetology.
She took great pride in her work as a para educator in the Methuen school district for 18+ years. She was always quick to share a story about one of the kids that she worked with and their accomplishments on any given day. She also enjoyed her work in the elder community as a CNA for Nevins throughout the years. Making many friends with the residents and families alike. Most recently she was employed by Whittier Rehab in Bradford, MA as Medical Secretary. Lynne’s other passion in life was her grandchildren and her animals which were her greatest companions.
Lynne will be sadly missed and forever in the hearts of her family; daughter, Jessica Patti-Gioia, and her husband, Robert Gioia of Methuen, MA; brothers, Dwayne Bernard and his spouse, Kevin Hebert of Manchester, NH, David Bernard and his wife, Leigh of Pelham, NH, Matthew Bernard and his wife, Beth of Manchester, NH; sister, Denise Peterson of Bradenton, FL; cherished grandchildren, Brayden and Avery Gioia; longtime companion, Pat Pezzano of Salisbury; and former husband, Alfred Patti of Methuen, MA. In addition she leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 13, 2023, from 4 PM to 7 PM, at Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynne’s memory may be made to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
