Lynn Ann Cool's Obituary
Haverhill, MA – Lynn Ann (Delehanty) Cool, 59 of Haverhill, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Richard B. Cool, to whom she was married for 25 years.
Born in Lawrence, MA on June 22, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Barbara (Bamforth) Delehanty. Lynn graduated from Methuen High School, class of 1977. She then attended Merrimack College in North Andover. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 122 in Methuen, where she served as past president. She was also a member of the Junior Achievement of Northern New England and the Sandy Bowling League. She was also an avid sports fan. She especially loved the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Bruins. Her favorite place to spend her time was at the beach with her feet in the sand.
Lynn will be deeply missed by her husband, Richard; her daughter, Crystal M. Cool and her significant other, Adrian Delasio of Haverhill; 2 granddaughters, Serena and Amara; her sister, Sue Ann LeBlanc-Delehanty and her significant other, Glenn R. Way of Framingham; her brother, Thomas M. Delehanty and his wife, Kelly of Nashua, NH; 2 nieces; and 2 nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Lynn’s life by gathering for her Mass of Christian Burial at St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11 AM. Guests are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Following the Mass, there will be a mercy meal to be held at the American Legion, 200 Broadway, Methuen. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road, Suite 200, Framingham, Massachusetts, 01701.
