Lucille Y. (Gagnon) Sirois' Obituary
Lucille Y. (Gagnon) Sirois, 89, of Lawrence passed away on February 7, 2018 at the Prescott House in North Andover surrounded by her devoted family. Born, raised and educated in Lawrence to the late John and Rose Gagnon, she attended Sacred Heart High School. While in school Lucille met her sweetheart, Maurice, and they were married. As the matriarch of her family she enjoyed the activities of reading, doing puzzles, and socializing at her hair salon. A lifelong devout Catholic she was a communicant at Sacred Heart and then St. Patrick’s in Lawrence. Lucille touched many lives in many different circles and she will fondly be loved, cherished and missed.
Lucille was the beloved mother to her two sons; Richard R. Sirois and his wife Carol of Salem, NH, and John M. Sirois and his wife Debra of Methuen. She was the proud grandmother to her five grandchildren; Kim, Greg, Nick, Tim and Dan and she was the great-grandmother of seven. Lucille is also the sister-in-law to Ray Sirois and his wife Gloria of Lawrence. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Maurice Sirois in 2013 and her two brothers, Pete and Rene Gagnon.
A memorial mass will be celebrated in Lucille’s honor at Saint Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 9 AM. To honor Lucille’s wishes all other services will be private.
