Lucille M. (Cayer) Keegan's Obituary
Lucille M. (Cayer) Keegan, 77, of Methuen, MA, passed away on May 28th, 2018 at the Nevin’s Nursing Home in Methuen. Lucille was the daughter of the late Philibert and Yvonne (Houde) Cayer. Lucille was born in Lawrence on June 24, 1940. She graduated from St. Ann’s Grammar and High School and was the wife of Bernard Keegan of Lawrence. She worked as a clerk for the city of Methuen until her retirement. In her free time she was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed taking trips to Vegas and Foxwoods.
Lucille will be deeply missed by her sons; Patrick, Michael and his wife Martha, Stephen and his wife Priscilla, James and his wife Kara, all of Methuen, five grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Devin, Dominic and James, son-in-law, David Holzman of Tyngsboro, two brothers, Jean-Paul Cayer of Ipswich, MA and Donald Cayer of Groveland, MA, one niece, Debbie (Berube) Sager of Hopkinton, MA. She is predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl (Keegan) Holzman formerly of Tyngsboro, two sisters, Rachel M. (Cayer) Berube, formerly of Hopkinton and Doris (Cayer) Bedard, formerly of Lawrence and two brothers, Henry Cayer, formerly of Andover, MA and Richard Cayer, formerly of Salem, NH.
Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 31st at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Monica’s Church, Methuen. Burial will follow at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
