Louise M. Myers' Obituary
Louise M. (LaScola) Myers, age 85 of Lawrence passed away peacefully on October 6, 2022 at the High Pointe Hospice House. Louise was born in Pawtucket, RI on July 12, 1937 to the late Salvatore and Albertina (Braganca) LaScola. She was a resident of Lawrence for 52 years. Louise was a dedicated and hardworking production lead at Amitron prior to her retirement in 2004. In her younger years, Louise worked at Hasboro Toys in Pawtucket, RI, where she worked on the production line for the original GI Joe toy.
Along with her late husband William, Louise was a longtime member of Riverside Assembly of God. She taught youth Sunday school for many years and was an active member of many bible studies. Louise loved singing and listening to music, especially country and western music. A fond family memory of Louise were the frequent times the family would sit around the record player and Louise would sing many songs. She wrote many poems and enjoyed sharing them with family and friends.
Louise was the beloved wife of the late William W. Myers III. She was the devoted mother of Paul D. Spitaleri and his wife Valerie, and William W. Myers IV and his wife Roseann. Louise was the dear sister of Frank LaScola, the late Joseph LaScola, the late Emanuel LaScola, and the late Lucy Buttach. She was the loving grandmother of William W. Myers V, and Katherine Emery. Louise was the cherished great grandmother of Amelia Emery. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Brady, and the staff at Lawrence General Hospital and High Pointe Hospice House.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Dick Bertrand to officiate. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl.
