Lloyd A. Colby's Obituary
Lloyd Alan Colby, 80, of Andover, MA, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025.
He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He spent most of his adult life in Queens, NY and East Setauket, NY, and spent his final years in Andover, MA.
Lloyd was a graduate of the University of Bridgeport and a U.S. Army veteran. He owned and operated a successful printing plate manufacturing business for many years, and then transitioned to sales for graphic arts services.
He enjoyed the New York Mets, Frank Sinatra, the New York Times Sunday crossword, traveling, and playing pickleball.
Lloyd is survived by: his daughter, Erika Halloran and her husband, Richard of Andover, MA; his former wife of over 40 years, Phyllis Colby of Port Jefferson, NY; his stepson, Craig LeBlang and his partner Shana Moulton of Santa Barbara, CA; his stepdaughter, Danielle Fraccalvieri and her husband Greg of Mineola, NY; his son, Dean Colby of Fly Creek, NY; his grandchildren, Andrew, Kevin, Sean, Richard, and Julianne; his brother, Douglas Colby and his wife, Muriel of Riverdale, NY; and his first wife and the mother of his children, Chana Colby-Pregosin of Andover, MA.
A private service and veteran’s burial will be held.
