Linda Carol Simpson's Obituary
Linda Carol (Nichols) Simpson, 72, of Dracut passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023 with her husband of over 50 years by her side.
She was born on November 23, 1950 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and was raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts, until she settled in Dracut to raise her own family, where she lived with Harry until her passing.
Linda graduated from Lawrence High School and Hesser College. She worked for many years as a paralegal. Most recently, she worked for Timothy Day esquire in Haverhill. Linda loved the sun, and being at the beach or by her pool. The only thing she loved more was her family and she will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her parents, Lyle John Nichols, I and Madeline (Senecal) Nichols; and her siblings, Lyle John, II, Lawrence “Mike”, and Lisa Marie.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Harry A. Simpson; her cherished children, Kimberly Escribano and her husband, Rafael and their children, Jason Nichols and his wife, Leah and their children, and Amy Simpson and her husband, Nick and their children. Linda also shared a special bond with the four grandchildren that she helped raise, Tyler, Nathan, Joey, and Lucas. She also leaves behind siblings, Lorna Nichols, Lionel “Joe” Nichols, Lee Nichols Ruiz, Luane Nichols Roeger and her husband, John, Laurie Nichols Robinson and her husband, Steve, Leslie “Sue” Nichols, and Jonathan Lee Nichols; and also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and extended family and friends.
Relatives and guests are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service at Bellevue Cemetery, 170 May Street in Lawrence, on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
