Linda (Silva) Ciardello's Obituary
Linda (Silva) Ciardello, age 78 of Methuen, passed away on September 15, 2019 at her late residence surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Lawrence on October 13, 1940 to the late Jason and Doris (Rossignol) Silva. She was a graduate of Tenney High School. Linda was an artist who enjoyed painting, ceramics, knitting, home decorating and she was also an award-winning gardener. Linda enjoyed cooking and entertaining her friends and family. She will be remembered as someone who was always willing to help others.
Linda was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Ciardello with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Valerie Tuminowski and her husband Chris, Christine Mgrdichian, Eileen Erni and her husband Roland, and Marie McKone Pelich and her husband Richard. Linda was the dear sister of the late Anita Gillespie, the late Paula Halbich, and the late Phillip Silva. She was the loving grandmother of Jason, Justin and his wife Katie, Mark and his wife Sheralee, Brian, Adam, and Dylan. Linda was the cherished great-grandmother of 5. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Monday, September 23, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A memorial service will be held immediately following calling hours beginning promptly at 4:00 PM.
