Leroy C. Lewis Jr's Obituary
Leroy C. Lewis Jr, 70, longtime resident of Methuen, passed away at the Boston Medical Center on May 14, 2020. He was born on November 30, 1949 to the late Leroy C. and Sidonia A. (Fowler) Lewis in Newburyport. After graduating from high school, Leroy worked for 35 years until his retirement as an overhead supervisor for National Grid. He enjoyed the many simple pleasures in life; camping, metal detecting, smoking the occasional cigar, observing the weather, tinkering in his garage on small engines and completing the crossword puzzles in the paper. Leroy touched many lives in many different circles and will fondly be loved, cherished and missed by all.
Leroy is survived by his beloved bride, Brenda M. (Costa) Lewis of Methuen, his son Kevin Lewis and his wife Mabel of Seabrook, NH, his stepdaughter Christina Couture of Lowell, and his stepson William Couture and his wife Jen of North Andover. He was also the cherished Papa to Romar, Leah, Chloe, Bryn and Max.
To honor Leroy’s wishes all services are private. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is proud to serve the Lewis family.
