Kim Nelson's Obituary
Kim came into this world a wee fighter at just over 4lbs.
That spirit continued throughout her life.
Kim was a person who only ever wanted to be helpful to all: her family and her many friends. She gave value to her friendships and only asked for that in return. And she got it back tenfold.
She loved singing in multiple choruses: The Rock Voices, her Interfaith Chorus, and joined her mother in The Swinging Seniors. She had Turner Syndrome but she made the best of it. In fact, she went to her first Turner convention in Texas this past summer. Where she met wonderful people and had a great time.
She had hidden stores of energy she’d break out when we weren’t expecting it!! She danced literally the entire evening of her sister’s wedding. Many guests said “She Wins!”
She loved our mother fiercely. And cared for her so well. They were “running the circuit” we would say, going from one senior center to another getting all the activities in!!
Kim is survived by her mother, Jean, brother, Craig, sister in law Michelle, her dear nephews Alexander and Andrew, her sister Leigh and brother in law Tyler. As well as her cousin and best friend Dawn and lifelong friends Bob and Carolyn.
She is predeceased by her father Eric, her beloved cousin Elizabeth, as well as other cherished family members.
We hope they are all together again finding some comfort, as we turn to each other to find that comfort here.
Services will be held Saturday January 6, 2024 at Christ Church United 10 Arlington St Dracut, MA at 1pm.
