Kelsey A. Gordon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kelsey A. Gordon, 17 of Salem, NH passed away on February 16, 2015 at Boston Children's Hospital with her parents at her side, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born in Lowell, MA, Kelsey was a senior at Salem High School and had been accepted to the two colleges of her choice where she planned on pursing a major in education. Kelsey loved children and had hoped to teach at the High School level. She also was a very talented musician and singer and loved music of all genres. Kelsey lived life to the fullest and loved her family and friends. She will forever be remembered for her smile and laugh that would fill hearts with warmth and joy. Though her life was too short, memories of Kelsey will be a comfort and treasure to all who knew and loved her. She is lying on Heaven's beach and will shine down on her family and friends like the sun on a perfect summer's day. Kelsey is survived by her loving parents, Matthew and Maureen Gordon (Jackson), maternal grandmother, Maureen T. Jackson (Jordan), several aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved best friends: Raven, Anelise, Sarah, Jenny, Sarah, Meg, and Alana. Private calling hours were held at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home and a mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Monica's Church on Friday, February 20, 2015. Burial took place at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Chapel Mausoleum. Memorial contributions in Kelsey's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
