Kathleen J. (Nevins) Sheehy, 90 of Methuen, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Cedar View Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Methuen. She was the beloved wife of the late James F. Sheehy.
Kay was born in Methuen on June 3, 1933. She was the daughter of the late John and Matilda (Barry) Nevins. She enjoyed taking trips with her friends and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Known simply as “Nana” to all who met her, Kay was beloved for her warm and caring personality. She was a kind and gentle person who never wanted to bother anybody, including her incredible nurses and caregivers at Cedar View over these last few months. Anyone who needed to find comfort and understanding in a friend knew that whatever they shared went right into her vault. We can all rest comfortably knowing that her vault has gone with her to heaven.
Kay will be deeply missed by her 4 children, Linda Dimakis and her husband, George, of Bedford, NH, James F.
