Katherine M. Bernard's Obituary
Katherine M. (Robinson) Bernard, 84, of Pelham, NH, passed away peacefully at High Pointe House in Haverhill surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Born in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marie Jeanne (Lemieux) Robinson.
Raised in Lawrence, Katherine attended the Lawrence School System. She became a homemaker tending to her family’s needs first and foremost. She was dedicated to her family and her loved ones. Katherine also enjoyed watching television, especially movies, listening to music, cooking for her family and friends, and mostly spending as much time possible with her loved ones, especially with her grandchildren and later her great-grandchildren.
She was devoted to her faith attending St. Patrick Church in Pelham, NH, and formerly a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel/St. Theresa Church in Methuen.
She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond A. Bernard with whom she was married to for 63 years; and siblings, Rita Andrawas, and Anthony Robinson, Jr.
Katherine is survived by her children, Denise Peterson of FL, Dwayne Bernard of Manchester, NH, Lynne Patti of Salisbury, David Bernard and his wife, Leigh of Pelham, NH, and Matthew Bernard and his wife, Beth of Manchester, NH; her cherished 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was also a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Katherine’s family would like to thank High Pointe House caregivers for all the care and support that they gave.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 1, 2022 at St. Patrick’s Church, 12 Main St, Pelham, NH. Burial will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, donations in Katherine’s memory may be made to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, c/o Neurological Unit, 330 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215.
