Judith A. McGrath's Obituary
Judith “Judy” (Bradley) McGrath, 77, of Methuen passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 3, 2022. The daughter of the late Chester J. and Frances (Garigliano) Bradley. Judy was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on October 27, 1944, the fourth of seven siblings.
She worked her entire life as a secretary, office manager, and later as the owner of several small businesses all while raising four children.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased her eldest sister, Patricia.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Leo McGrath of Methuen; her four children, Cheryl DeNardo of Wakefield, Timothy Scanlon of Lawrence, Brian Scanlon of North Andover, and Shauna Colby and her husband, Jason of Methuen; grandchildren, Emma Whittaker of Plaistow, NH, Brianna, Gaetano, and Gabriella DeNardo of Wakefield, and Caroline Colby of Methuen; siblings, Florence Axford of Methuen, Eileen Lee of Methuen, Barbara Dion of Londonderry, NH, Susie Bradley of Londonderry, NH, and John Bradley of Derry, NH. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence Street in Methuen. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's memory may be made to American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601or via www.lung.org. The Kenneth H.
