Joyce M. White Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dade City, Florida ? Joyce Mae (Carignan) White, 68, formerly of Windham, NH, passed away Thursday February 24, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was born the daughter of the late Adrien J. and Edith Mae (Berry) Carignan, on December 24, 1942 in Methuen, MA. She liked to ski and golf. Joyce was a marvelous cook, a wonderful hostess, and above all else, she loved being in the company of her family and friends. She graduated from Tenney High School in Methuen MA in 1960 and Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing in 1963. Joyce went on to build a successful family business with her loving husband Ken and their three sons. Joyce and Ken retired to Florida in 2008 where they spent several wonderful years with family and friends both old and new. Joyce is survived by her devoted husband of forty-four years, Kenny; three sons, Eric and his wife Jeanny of Chester, NH, Gregg and his wife Nancy of Windham, NH, and Brian of Newburyport; four grandchildren, Jimmy & Lindsay White and Brandi & Briana Chorney, one great-grandchild, Teagen Chorney, her brother, Dr. Robert A. Carignan of Hartland, Maine. She is also survived and will be sorely missed by the rest of her extended family and loving friends. Friends will be warmly received at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen on Saturday, June 18, 2011 from 9:00am-12:00pm. with a Funeral Service following at 12:00pm at the Funeral Home. Everyone is then invited to the Sweetheart Inn on Myrtle St in Methuen for lunch.
