Joyce A. Freitas' Obituary
Joyce A. (Eastwood) Freitas, 75, died on May 4, 2020 at Academy Manor, Andover, MA. Daughter of the late David J. and Yvonne Eastwood of Lawrence, MA.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, she was a graduate from St. Mary’s High School and earned her Associates Degree of Nursing from Northern Essex Community College and worked in Lawrence area nursing homes and hospitals and was also licensed in Maine.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Freitas, Andover, MA; daughters, Cathy Schrowang and her husband, Eric, Lexington, SC, Rose Chretien, Chester, NH, Susan Thomson and her husband, Dave, Boxford, MA, Lisa Augusta, Boxford MA; daughter-in-law, Janet McCarthy, Salem, NH; brother, John Eastwood, and his wife, Kathleen, Northfield, NH; sister-in law, Lorina Eastwood, Arizona City, AZ; brother-in-law, James Stundze, Atkinson, NH; brother in-law, John Freitas and wife, Pat, Lowell, MA, and their daughter, Saundra Goodwin, Port St Lucy, FL; 7 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many long-time friends.
She is pre-deceased by two sons, Joseph Chretien and Robert McCarthy, granddaughter, Tiffany Zellin, grandson, Robert McCarty, sisters, Arlene Savenelli and Janice Stundze, and her brother, David Eastwood.
