Josephine Tohme Aoun's Obituary
Josephine (Tohme) Aoun, 93 of Methuen, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Mikhael Aoun.
Josephine was born in Damoun, Lebanon on September 3, 1929, the daughter of the late Iskandar and Nahil (Jebeily) Tohme.
Josephine will be deeply missed by her 6 children, Tony Aoun and his wife, Linda Kennedy Aoun, Damia Aoun Baklini and her husband, Adel Baklini, Nahia Aoun Haddad and her husband, Sleiman Haddad, Nawal Aoun Abounasr and her husband, Jean Abounasr, Marlene Aoun Chamoun and her husband, Jean Chamoun, and Bassam Aoun and his wife, Micheline Aoun; and 14 grandchildren.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Josephine’s life by gathering for her calling hours, which will be held from 4 – 7 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Her funeral service will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday at St. Anthony Maronite Church, 145 Amesbury Street, Lawrence. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Methuen.
