Joseph G. Joyal's Obituary
LAWRENCE ? Joseph G. Joyal 75 of Lawrence died Sunday January 16, 2011 at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lunenburg, Vermont, he was the son of Omar and Noella (Fontaine) Joyal. He was a graduate of Groveton High School in Groveton, NH. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received an honorable discharge. For twenty five years he was employed with the Honey Well Corporation, and after his retirement worked part-time at both Ski Haus in Salem, NH and Hickory Hill Golf Course in Methuen, MA. He was a member of the VFW Arnold Greenwood Post in Methuen. He enjoyed skiing, and Golfing.
He leaves his wife of 52 years Noreen R. (Turgeon) Joyal of Lawrence, MA. Children Donna Maria Harrington and her husband Michael of Derry, NH and John T. Joyal and his wife Judy of Methuen, MA.
One sister Pauline Viette of South Carolina.
Four grandchildren Lindsay, Matthew, Andrew and Sean.
Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project National Processing Center P.O. Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675-8516 www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00p.m. ? 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00a.m. in St. Monica?s Church in Methuen with burial to take place at a later date.
