John L. Woolley III's Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John L. Woolley, III, of Methuen, Massachusetts, on July 25, 2024, at the age of 50. He was surrounded by his family and friends.
John and his wife Trish have spent the last twenty-seven years together, traveling the world with their friends. John was an avid tennis player and when not on the court, could be found birding with Trish. John was a passionate photographer and a lover of nature. He adored everything about technology and was the go to knowledge base for his extended family. John was a diehard New England sports fan and his beloved Red Sox held top spot in his heart amongst all other teams. He and Trish loved spending time with family and friends and truly lived life to its fullest.
John is survived by his wife, Patricia (Grimley) Woolley, and his mother, Suzanne Maurici of North Andover, Massachusetts; aunt Mary Jane Towse and her husband, Robert; uncle Anthony Imperioso; uncle Salvatore Maurici; aunt Mary Towse; lifelong best friend, Bill Joyce and his wife, Elisabeth of Durham, North Carolina.
The family is mourning privately and will announce a later date when they will host a memorial service for John.
