John J. Santoro Jr.'s Obituary
John J. Santoro, Jr. “J.J.”, 70, of Laconia, NH, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at his home surrounded by his wife and children.
J.J. was born in Boston, MA on August 5, 1953, raised in Cambridge, MA and was the son of the late John J. and Jessie (Steiner) Santoro.
J.J. was a successful entrepreneur in the automobile industry, and his greatest passion was his family. Deeply devoted to his faith, he lived life to the fullest with optimism and pride. He enjoyed daily adventures on Lake Winnipesaukee, hiking the trails of New Hampshire, and traveling annually to Aruba. Knowing J.J. meant that you knew his ‘tail was always wagging.
J.J. was the beloved husband of Charlene S. Santoro for forty-eight years. He was the devoted father of Jason Santoro and his wife, Agnes of Wakefield, MA, John J. Santoro, III and his wife, Elizabeth of Lynnfield, MA and Michelle Santoro Curet and her husband, Tony of Newburyport, MA. He was the proud grandfather of Emma, Gianna, Layla, Luke, Anthony, Josephine, and Zachary. He was the brother of Fran (Santoro) Lami and her husband, Bill of Jacksonville, FL., and Joe Santoro and his wife, Joy of Gilford, NH. He loved all his nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours are 9:00am to 10:30am at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA on Saturday, July 20, 2024. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery, 130 N. Lowell St., Methuen, MA.
