John M. Holak's Obituary
John M. Holak,71, of North Andover, Massachusetts, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer on the evening of Monday, January 5, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Anthony and Rita (Endyke) Holak and grew up in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He spent much of his adult life living in Westford and North Andover, Massachusetts.
John was a fun-loving guy who could make you smile with his quick wit, jokes, and overall happy demeanor. As a child, he spent much of his time at the beach with family, which continued all through his adult life. Over time the beach trips became more about the food and less about the sand and the water. He was a seafood fan that had no limit to the amount he could consume and would be proud to have that known. John also loved to hunt deer, go deep sea fishing, catch lobsters, play pool, and dance.
He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. John leaves behind his wife, Maria (Campusano) Holak; his children, Jennifer Hunter, David Holak, John Holak, Chris Holak, and Joshua Holak; and 5 grandchildren. Additionally, John leaves behind his stepson, Fraive Rosario Campusano.
John will be missed by his friends locally and in the Dominican Republic.
