John F. Gagnon Sr.'s Obituary
John F. Gagnon, Sr., 79, of Salem, NH, died on Saturday October 19, 2024.
Born in Lawrence, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Rallo) Gagnon. John was raised in Lawrence with his three siblings, attended the area school system and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1963. After high school, he was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Navy.
John will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter, Lyn Britton and her husband, Layne of Haverhill, MA, son, John Gagnon, Jr. and his wife, Lynn of Sandown, NH, grandchildren, Jordan Britton and his wife, Jillian, Sharyn and Katelyn Britton, and Kevin Gagnon and his wife, Ally, great granddaughter, Violet, brothers, Joseph Gagnon and his spouse, Kathy Winkleman of Windham, NH, Michael Gagnon and his wife, Linda of Methuen, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his cherished wife, Sharon (Savoie) Gagnon, and sister, Marie Gosselin.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours on Thursday October 24, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. His Funeral Service will take place the next day, Friday October 25, 2024, at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Barker St., Lawrence, MA.
