John A. Casanova's Obituary
John A. Casanova, 53, of Methuen, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
John was born and raised in the city of Woburn on March 8, 1971 and was the son of Janet (Bell) Green and step son of David Green.
John was a graduate of Woburn High School, Class of 1989. After High school he moved to Florida where he met his future wife Karen. Together they moved back to Massachusetts and began to raise a family and were together for over 30 years. He worked as a Service Technician for 20 years. He loved cooking, woodworking, rock and roll music, cheering for Manchester City soccer club and playing cards with his family. He also was the coach of his sons’ soccer teams and inspired dozens of soccer players to love the game. Most of all he loved his family, especially his children and watching them grow up.
John was the beloved husband of Karen (Calhoun) Casanova. He was the loving father of Zachary Casanova, Patrick Casanova and Jason Casanova all of Methuen. He was the brother of David Casanova and his wife Rachel of Cold Spring, NY., and Catherine Green of Salem, NH. He leaves behind many fond memories that his family and friends alike will cherish forever.
A visitation for relatives and friends will be held in the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 4-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11am.
