Joanne M. Anderson's Obituary
Joanne M. Anderson passed away, Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen, MA.
She was born in Andover, MA to the late Helen Traverse. Joanne worked for Merrimack College before her retirement. She enjoyed shopping, dancing and bingo. But most of all being with her friends and family.
Joanne was predeceased by her mother Helen Traverse, her sisters Regina DiFrancesco, Catherine Marcoux and brother Francis Marcoux.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Anderson and his fiancé Lisa Paganis of Woburn, MA and Shaun Anderson and wife Karyn of Whitman, MA and sister Sheila Fortin of NH. There are also many nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Friends and guests are invited to call on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Lucy Parish, 254 Merrimack St. Methuen. Entombment to follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum. Due to the current global pandemic, facial coverings and the practice of social distancing are required to attend the calling hours, funeral mass and entombment. Donations in Joanne’s memory may be made to the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 10 Ingalls Ct. Methuen, MA 01844.
