JoAnn M. Hayes' Obituary
JoAnn M. Hayes, 68, of Methuen entered eternal rest on August 22, 2018. She was born in Lawrence on January 8, 1950 to the late Henry and Lorraine (Marquis) Bedard. JoAnn was a life-long resident of the Merrimack Valley and worked as a nurse at Holy Family Hospital until her retirement in 2007. She was an avid reader and devoted her life to her family.
JoAnn was the beloved mother of James Hayes and his wife Monica of Strafford, NH, Shawn Hayes of Methuen, and Scott Hayes and his wife Rachel of Haverhill. She was the sister of Marianne Michaud, Dianne Bedard, and the late Michael Bedard. She was the proud grandmother of her 7 grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Geneva, Ella, Grant, Adrianna, and Adira.
Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Interment will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery, 110 N. Lowell St., Methuen.
