Joan M. Nartiff's Obituary
Joan M. Nartiff, (Dixon), 88, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in Merrimack, NH.
Joan was born in Lawrence on June 7, 1936 and was the daughter of James and Diana R. (Roberts) Dixon.
Joan was raised in Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1953. After high school she began to raise her family and watching them grow up. After her children grew up, she began working for Malden Mills until her retirement in 2004. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and shopping. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late James Nartiff. She was the loving mother of Stephen Foster of Beverly, MA., Donald Foster and his wife Ana of Nashua, NH., Diane Leonard and her husband Matthew of Danville, NH, the late Cherylanne Foster-Riviezzo and the late Veronica Foster. She was the cherished grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 5. She was the sister of Daniel Dixon of Salem, NH., and the late James Dixon, Robert Dixon, and William Dixon.
A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 9-11:30am. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home following at 12pm. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
