My heart aches deeply for your family. Jen was not just my nursing student, I also am originally from Massachusetts, we had a RedSox connection. She was hard working, outgoing and I new she would make a great nurse. I want to offer my support to the family and if there is anything I can do from this side of the globe please do not hesitate to reach out.
Sincerely,
Dr. Pamela (Meli) Almeida - Previous Professor of Nursing HPU
Dear Jill, Emily, Kaela, Andrew, Sophia and Baby Rice, & Family.
I am so sad about the loss of your dear wife and mother. When I first met Jenn I immediately loved her she had a beautiful smile and so welcoming to me. As time went on I would see her now and then getting to know her more. I just adored her and was so happy that she came into Jill's and Sophia's life for I knew that she was the one for Jill and Sophia and that they would one day have such a great family together and that gave me such peace in my mind that my Jill and Sophia would be so happy again and loved and cared for and safe.
Jenn was so excited when Jill got pregnant and was so looking forward to baby Rice. I know Jenn you will always be with us in our hearts forever and be watching over us. Thank you Jenn for being in my life and Jill & Sophia's. I love you to the moon and back!
Miss you always and for ever and RIP until we meet again.

I met Jenn when my family moved to Pearl City, Hawaii back in 2007. Her daughter Emily, another neighbor of ours, Kara, and I were inseparable the entire time we lived there. We were always doing something, and almost every weekend, all of the parents from our culdesac would gather for what they called “The Wolf Pack” on the driveway. Us girls would run off to someone’s house and do whatever; dress-up, play DS, watch movies, etc. Jenn would always be the mom to ask for a sleepover because we knew she would say yes. She was always so welcoming of me into her home, and into her family. She was like an extra mom to me. I am thankful to have met her, and she definitely had an impact on me. I will miss her, and I send love and prayers to all of her friends and family.

Jenn and I met at work! We made up "scrblife" we were pretty much the night shift squad. She has taught me that its never to late to be who you're meant to be. To live life fearlessly. To Love hard and be kind to everyone. I'll miss her so much.
